WHO IS TRYON AND ASSOCIATES?

Tryon and Associates was founded in 1986 by Charles Tryon to help organizations acquire and apply well-defined methods and techniques for project management, knowledge requirements, business requirements and software designs. This objective is fulfilled through seminar instruction and project mentoring.

Tryon and Associates clients include A.C. Our instructors are masters of their topic areas and have earned their credentials through years of experience and consulting.

Charles A. Tryon

Chuck Tryon is a respected educator and popular symposium speaker.  He founded Tryon and Associates in 1986 to provide seminar training and consulting that helps organizations and individuals develop predictable and repeatable approaches to modern project management, knowledge management, business requirements and software design.  The strategies presented in Mr. Tryon’s seminars are used by thousands of professionals in hundreds of organizations across the United States, Europe and Canada.  His client list includes many top 100 companies.

Chuck has authored eight multi-day seminars and is completing a book titled Great Ideas.  He is currently working on a second book titled What’s YOUR Charter?

 Chuck and his wife, Tresa, reside in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.  When not making presentations or spoiling new granddaughter, Madeline, Chuck tries to find time for his two favorite hobbies, golf and SCUBA diving … but not usually at the same time.

Full Biography

Jim Warren

Jim Warren is a senior associate with Tryon and Associates and is a very successful and popular instructor. He presents seminar offerings on data modeling, process modeling and software design. Mr. Warren co-authored Tryon and Associates seminar Designing Application Systems: Using Essential Process Models that provides an integrated process/data strategy for the transition from analysis to design. Most recently, Mr. Warren has developed two new seminars titled Software Maintenance Enhancements:  Specifying Customer Requirements for Software Changes and Modeling Business Data:  The Tools and Strategies of Data Modeling. He also provides valuable consulting assistance for identifying Information Engineering strategies, creating Information Strategy Plans and Business Area models as well as guiding the creation of Internal Consulting organizations.  Mr. Warren may be reached at JimWarren@TryonAssoc.com.
